The Armenian Catholic Church: Origin-History-Present.

How did the Armenian Catholic Church originate from Armenian Christianity, and how has it developed since the union with Rome in the 18th century? The presentation traces the theological and liturgical identity, highlights key stages between Cilicia, Constantinople and the diaspora as well as experiences of persecution, migration and new beginnings. Current structures, spirituality, education and charity are presented, as well as ecumenical relationships and challenges in the Middle East and Europe.
